This is a story about our very loved and missed "Cookie". She became part of my Life when she was around 5 years old. I never thought I would feel this attached to any animal until Cookie came into my life. She was the kindest, most loving dog to everyone. She loved children and other animals. What made her so special was her unique smile and her strength. In her later years, even after trying to fight the battle of cancer ~she lost her hearing and eyesight. Even through all of this she continued to show us her love by always managing to give us what we call her thumpy tail, by wagging her tail so fast you barely could keep up with it. --- in her final days after reaching 16 years young, with the help of her human mom and the veterinarians we had 6 more months of her love and devotion before she finally had to be put to peace. We will never find another "Cookie". ~
