  Kodiak

Kodiak was a rescue puppy.  She was found abandoned in the woods, and she had been abused.  A friend found her near death, and took her to a vet.  Extraordinary measures were taken, and Kodiak survived.  The friend then gave her to me.

Kodiak spent the next 12 years as my buddy and friend.  She loved our trips to Alaska, and was my fishing companion, rain or shine.  She was a very loyal, loving dog, and was always there to greet me when I came home, and always saw me off when I was leaving.  She was by my side constantly, always giving love and affection.

She passed suddenly, and unexpectedly, at 4:00 a.m. on October 18.  Kodiak came into my life quickly and left just as fast.  It was a great 12 years, and I will miss her tremendously, especially when fishing in the rain in Alaska.
