  Suzy

I had Suzy for 13 years, she really was my best friend. She was with me through all kinds of good and bad times in my life, she gave me strength. I could always count on her to get into my lap and lick my tears away. She had tons of energy and loved to eat! She was always bouncing around the room looking for a treat! Suzy gave me strength all the way to the end, when she gave me the strength to let her go. One of the hardest things I've ever done was to be with her at the last moment, but I couldn't have it any other way. I couldn't let her go alone. I wanted to be holding her and be by her side like she always was for me.
