Patches

Patches was the skinniest dog in the Humane Society and was laying in the back of his holding cell. He had a face that looked so sad. I could not leave him there so I called my wife and said "we have to get him out of there". 24 hours later we brought him home with us where he resided for the last 10 years until Thursday, October 8th 2009.

Patches was a beautiful dog with just the right amount of spots as you can see from his photo. He loved his family and did not like to be alone. Patchy travelled to work with Dad, to the beach with the family, & kept a close watch over his family during his life. Patches was not your typical old cranky senior citizen. He took old age in stride. He was simply a magnificent dog and will always be loved and greatly missed.
God Bless you boy!

Love you always,
Dad, Mom, Emily, Julia, & Preston

PS - We would like special thanks to go to our close friends Tom & Leah for their thoughtful & loving gift in Patches' honor.

Would you like to share your memories of Patches or make a donation to the Pet Memorial Program in Patches's honor?
