Application Details


All applicants must use the online Veterinary Medical College Application Service (VMCAS) as their primary application. 

The VMCAS and the Washington-Idaho-Utah (WIU) Regional Program in Veterinary Medicine are now open.


New for 2013 – All official transcripts are to be sent to VMCAS at the address on their website. They must be received by VMCAS by October 2, 2013 or your application will be considered incomplete.  If you have any questions, please contact the admissions office at 509-335-1532.

Please submit your GRE scores electronically to WSU College of Veterinary Medicine through the ETS website at http://www.ets.org/gre/  with the college code 4984 and department code 0617.

An online WSU supplemental application is also required and will be available with the next application cycle.  Applicants must complete BOTH the VMCAS and the WSU supplemental applications.  A $60 application/processing fee will be assessed online as part of completing the WSU supplemental application.

Applicants should file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)  no later than February 15, 2012 for priority consideration. Applicants should request that reports be sent to WSU in order to guarantee consideration for financial aid, if they are admitted. WICHE and out-of-area applicants need to have reports sent to WSU to be considered for financial aid.
