Bald Eagle

A bald eagle was found near Ferdinand, Idaho perched near a steer carcass and unable to move. The eagle was brought to a veterinarain who gave fluids to the bird and aranged for the Idaho Fish and Game Department to transport the eagle to the College of Veterinary medicine at Washington State University.

Lead poisoning was diagnosed and the bird was treated and recovered. He was released on February 2, 2001.
