Student Research ... World Class. Face to Face.

The 21st century brings tremendous challenges and opportunities to serve
animal and human health and welfare through research to improve medical
care, environmental quality, animal agriculture, safety of our food supply,
and preservation of species. Such challenges can only be met through a
commitment to research. Veterinarians, with their broad training in animal
and human biology and comparative medicine have made and continue to make
major contributions to research in these areas.
The Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine faculty is
proud of its many exceptional research programs and encourages students to
explore research and to join the ranks of veterinarians who advance the
frontiers of knowledge. Faculty mentors may be found both within our college
and within related research programs in other colleges at Washington State
University, including
