  • University Presentation: The A Game: Guiding Student Success Presentation
    This presentation is customized for instructors, advisors, and everyone who supports student success.
    by Dr. Ken Sufka Professor of Psychology and Pharmacology at the University of Mississippi and is the author
    of The A Game: Nine Steps to Better Grades.

  • Dr. Sufka will discuss the empirical research upon which his book is based. He will provide information to help faculty, advisors, and others diagnose student problem areas. He will suggest ways to help students adopt a set of behaviors and skills to master course content and succeed in college.

  • 2014 TEC-Ed Conference: Technology-Enhanced Curricula in Higher Education
  • Summary: TECH-Ed is a two-day multidisciplinary conference focusing on the understanding and use of technology in teaching and learning in higher education. The overarching goal of the conference is to explore optimal ways to enhance student engagement, achievement, and life-long learning through the use of education technologies. With an emphasis on collaboration and networking, the conference will feature invited panels and presentations and the opportunity for participants to join experts for discussion. Topics include e-learning, flipped classrooms, STEM, Serious Educational Gaming (SEG), MOOCs, and more. Poster displays will be a highlight of TECH-Ed 2014; we invite all members of the higher education community to submit a poster proposal or just to participate.
