Unfortunately, in the lab slides, the euchromatin is not as obvious as it truly is in the nucleus of these cells. In comparison to the nuclei of the neuroglia that we see scattered around these cells, however, you can appreciate the size of the nucleus and the amount of euchromatin in contrast to the much darker (heterochromatic) nuclei of the glial cells. Notice that the nucleolus is about the size of the glial cell nuclei.
