WSU_2_060: Pancreas
The pancreas has both an endocrine and an exocrine function. For now, we want to concentrate on the cells that are involved in the exocrine function. Exocrine glands secrete their product(s) to the surface through ducts. For example: sweat glands secrete their product through ducts to the surface of the skin, and the pancreas secretes digestive enzymes though the pancreatic ducts to the luminal surface of the duodenum.
