As you review these images, try to identify the structures present before reading the text. It is recommended that you have your Laboratory Manual and Miller's Guide to the Dissection of the Dog with you. Your lecture notes may be useful as well. Because we perform the dissection on the left side of the dog, the head will generally be positioned to the left side of the image.

This site is not intended to replace the time you spend in the laboratory, either during or after lab; It is mearly a supplement. You will quickly find that there is no replacement for looking at your group's and other group's specimens.

Beginning with Lab3, links are present to the reviews of histology slides (e.g., [Lab 3H]) on the parent gross lab page (e.g., [Lab 3G]). [Up] links will, for the most part, bring you back to the parent lab page.

The images on this site are not  for public use.
