Once again, we can identify the  Right atrioventricular valve (A); Chordae tendonae (B); Papillary muscles (C); Trabeculae carnae (D), and we see some good examples here of (E) Trabeculae septomarginalis, which are sometimes called septomarginal bands. Trabeculae septomarginalis are Purkinje fibers that cross from the interventricular septum to the wall of the ventricle. What is the purpose of Purkinje fibers?
