The Larynx [ Up ] I have roughly outlined the cartilages of the larynx. You should have already tried to identify the structures before reading this. If you haven't, do it now before reading on. The cartilages that make up the larynx are the epiglottic cartilage (A), arytenoid cartilage (B), thyroid cartilage (C) and cricoid cartilage (D&E). What is the purpose of the aryepiglottic fold (F)?
