Cougar Pride Clean-up/Project 2002
College of Veterinary Medicine
Participation in WSU Cougar Pride Days
March 28 – April 5, 2002
Thank You and Congratulations to all of the volunteers who helped
make Cougar Pride Days a success here in the College of Veterinary
Medicine. Our college was awarded the President's Award for Building
Groups. This award goes to the organization best representing
commitment to the beauty of the WSU campus, pride in work, and
attention to detail.
The College of Veterinary Medicine received the President's Award
for everyone's commitment to Cougar Pride Days. This includes everyone
who was able to participate with the outside work as well as those who
kept all the areas running while their sections had members outside. |

Cougar Pride Days at
Washington State University is a time when WSU students, faculty and staff
members, joined by community residents, show pride in the university in
various ways, including by taking part in campus beautification and cleanup
projects. The event has historic roots from Campus Days, held starting in the
early years of WSU. On Campus Day, trees were planted, sidewalks built and the
appearance of the young campus was improved, creating school spirit and Cougar
pride.
