discontinued in 2000)

first veterinarian in Santa Barbara County to help this non-profit
organization.
Special
Notes/Distinguishing Characteristics
- Strong love
for orthopedic surgery and developed many specialized pins and plates that
he has used.
- Worked for
the County of Santa Barbara Animal Services working essentially for free,
donating his time for brain removal of potentially rabid specimens. Noted as
being, very responsible to the County.
- Dr.
Prentice is a tall man (about 67), but has never been too tall to bend
over and clean out a kennel or take out the trash.
- Daughter
Vicki wrote, He is kind, gentle, understanding, and instills character,
leadership, and individuality.
