If you can run fluids, you can provide safe and effective analgesia – it’s that easy! Constant rate infusions have multiple advantages over repeat injections of drugs for control of pain and they can easily be accomplished in any practice. Furthermore, a wide variety of drugs are useful in CRIs, allowing the practitioner to choose drugs most appropriate for the individual practice as well as the individual patient. The use of CRIs will be thoroughly discussed and dosages will be provided.
