How the course works

To use the course materials anytime during the open course period:

Click on the "Start course" link.  As you work through the materials you can make a "bookmark" or "favorite" in your browser to return to any page in the instructional materials.

If you forget your password after your account has been activated, click on the "Forgot my password" link.

You have control over when and how you will interact with the instructional materials. Each of the topics is presented as voice - annotated slides.

Voice - annotated slides are comparable to what would be shown in a live lecture. A slide containing text or a picture (or both) appears on the screen.  Each time you advance to the next slide you will hear the instructor discussing the information on the slide. To use the voice annotated slides, you must have speakers attached to your computer. Each voice annotated lecture is available in 3 sizes for different speed connections. See HELP for additional details.

Asking questions

An email link to the course instructor is included in the course. An attempt will be made to address questions within 2 to 3 working days but since this course is available anytime, the instructor may not always be available to answer questions. Questions should be on topics relevant to this course and will be posted along with the instructor response in an FAQ section with the name of the author of the question removed.
