The club recently established WSU Club recognition, which will allow a broader student base as well as an avenue for pre-vet students to pursue their interests.

Past Events

We recently had a 'small furries' lab where our wonderful advisor Dr. Finch gave us information on most of the common pocket pets including ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, hedgehogs (not so furry), and gerbils. Last semester we had an Avian Emergency Medicine lab, where we practiced bandaging technique and giving fluid.

Future Events

Wednesday the 15th of February we have a dinner lecture from 6-8 in ADBF 1408 given by Dr. Finch on the basics of avian medicine. On the 8th of April we will have a booth at the vet school open house where we will have examples of great pocket pets and other exotics, with information packets and a raffle for a great prize!
