American Association of Equine Practitioners

Objectives of Parent Organization

The AAEP's objectives are best derived from the mission statement: "To improve the health and welfare of the horse, to further the professional development of its members, and to provide resources and leadership for the benefit of the equine industry." To this end, the AAEP is constantly producing educational materials for horse owners and those in the horse industry, providing continuing education for equine practitioners, supporting equine research, and setting guidelines for ethical practices in equine veterinary medicine.
