Agricultural Animal Club



     
The Ag Animal Club is a group of highly motivated students who love the rural lifestyle and a good steak   Some of us are from ranching and dairy backgrounds and some of us are city folk.  Our main goal is to learn all we can about ag animal medicine, and have some fun at the same time.   We invite several speakers throughout the year to talk on rural vet programs, and production medicine issues.   We also organize weekly Thursday rounds, where we are able to learn about specific cases coming to the hospital.   Most importantly we have several BBQ’s throughout the year that help us to appreciate the important parts of food animals.
