CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WSU SAVMA ACADEMIC TEAM FOR WINNING THE MOST TROPHIES at the annual Student AVMA Symposium!!!!

  • 1ST PLACE: Freshman Anatomy Team (Lee Palmer, Matt Nelson)--received stethoscopes***the proctor of this exam said that the anatomy skills of these students are phenomenal***
  • 1ST PLACE: Individual Freshman Anatomy (Lee Palmer)
  • 1ST PLACE: Weakest Link Vet Trivia (Josh Anderson)
  • 1ST PLACE: SCAVMA Challenge oral competition (Kristen Macey, Caelli Cryer, Ann Schlomer, Robyn Fry)
  • 2nd PLACE: SCAVMA Challenge written competition (Kristen Macy, Caelli Cryer, Ann Schlomer, Robyn Fry)
  • 3rd PLACE: Parasitoloty team (Bill Craft, Josiel Lopez)
  • 3rd PLACE: Parasitology individual (Bill Craft)
     

Congrats to the other members of the team who worked hard and displayed the phenomenal skills of WSU students:

Jill Keepers, Ryan DePaul, & Jaime Hustace in Equine Aging and Brian MacKie and Garth Millard for bovine reproduction.

  • Cori Gross from Animal Welfare committee

Please note: Cornell, Purdue, & Tufts students combined only won 1 academic competition and that was for research....
