Policies and Payment

BCU provides photographic and multimedia imaging services to all faculty, staff, and students of WSU.

Services are available to non-university clients, however they will be limited to those that are not available elsewhere, or billed out at a level that will not threaten local, nonsubsidized businesses.

In order to keep providing excellent service with quick turn-arounds we need to be as efficient as possible. To meet these deadlines all orders brought to us must be camera ready. If they are not, we will need extra time to adjust them and an hourly labor fee may be charged to compensate for our time.

We stand behind the quality of our work, and customer service is our top priority. If you have any reservations or problems with an order you have received, we are more than willing to talk to you and potentially redo your order at our expense until it meets your satisfaction. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing errors in files or materials you have brought to us. Our guarantee extends to the work that we have done, assuming everything you bring us is completely finished and ready to shoot/print/or record. If you have problems with creating something in a program, we are available to answer your questions, give you tips, and help you remedy the problem.

Turn-Around Times:
  • Standard Turn-Around on most services
If you bring in your orders by 10:00am, they will be ready for you to pickup by 4:30pm the next working day for printing only.  Mounting and/or laminating take an extra day.
  • RUSH Orders
In by 10:00am out by 4:30pm the same day. RUSH orders prevents us from using cost effective techniques, therefore there is always a rush charge associated with these orders. See specific service for details
  • Special Cases
Video Production - varies with project
Graphic Design - varies with project
    Labor - varies with project
Unusual Outsourced Orders - varies with project & supplies
  • Payment

IRI (Interdepartmental Requisition Invoice) is the most common form of payment. This invoice is a way for monies within the university to be exchanged between budgets. Sales tax is never charged on orders that are paid for in this manner. With an IRI you have two options:

    1. Single IRI - bring a completed IRI over every time you place an order, or
    2. Blanket IRI - by using one IRI you can tell us which people are authorized to use this account. We will keep the blanket in our records until the date you have told us it expires. Then you can make multiple orders throughout the year without the hassle of paperwork.

    COD (Charge on Delivery)
If you do not have access to a WSU budget you can still place your order and pay for it when you pick it up using:

    1. Personal Check (made to "BCU")
    2. VISA or Mastercard
    3. Cougar Account Card
