Why Horses?
Horses are sensitive to people's emotions, body language and intents, and
respond accordingly. The nature of the horse, children's interest in
communicating with horses and the dynamic interactions that occur between them,
facilitate the development of children's self and social awareness, behavioral
and emotional control, assertiveness, communication skills, optimistic thinking
and leadership skills.
Will my child benefit from PATH to Success?
Prevention specialists agree that all children benefit from enhanced social
competence, better coping skills and reduced stress. In addition, our experience
suggests that the program may be especially helpful for children currently
experiencing stress, as well as those experiencing adjustment problems or
psychosomatic health complaints.
