Donations made to the general fund will help support the areas of greatest
need as determined by the Director of SMB. Funds have been used to support
travel to meetings, seminar speakers, the annual school retreat, and more.

Scholarship and Fellowship Funds
State support for education
continues to decrease and students have to pay for an ever increasing portion of
their tuition. Scholarships are more important than ever. In addition,
scholarship support is critical to motivating and rewarding students from a
diversity of backgrounds. Donations to the

STARS Scholarship in support of Undergraduate Research
Stars students are
exceptional students who will be the future leaders in biomedical and other
areas of research.

New Scholarship or Undergraduate Research Funds
Establish a new scholarship, undergraduate research, or other fund that will
support students in SMB forever. Endowments can be created with as little as
$25,000. Donations to the endowment can be made over 5 years. If your company
matches your donation that is only $2,500 per year! Contact Andrea Farmer at the
address at the right to create a new endowment in SMB.
