Jeanne Jensen given 2008 CVM Staff Excellence Award

Dean Warwick Bayly named Jeanne Jensen as one of the winners of the annual CVM Employee Excellence Award. Jeanne was nominated by co-worker, Becky Morton.  The award was presented by IPN Chair Bryan Slinker at the IPN Ice Cream Social.

Jeanne Jensen, IPN's Publications Coordinator and department editor, was recently named one of the winners of the 2008 Dean's Staff Employee Excellence Awards.  The honor was announced by Dean Warwick Bayly at the annual CVM Employee Barbecue on August 15 and presented by Chair Bryan Slinker at the IPN welcome back ice cream social on August 22.  Phrases such as "...strives for and obtains excellence; able to see a need and respond; prime motivator is to make other people look good..." were some of the descriptions given in Jeanne's nomination for this honor.

Jeanne has been employed at WSU for nearly 25 years, and she has been with IPN since 1991.  She is supervisor of the word processing group and oversees the work produced in that busy unit.

Past IPN recipients of the CVM Excellence Award include Becky Morton (1999), Paul Johnson (2001), Sandra Bellinger (2000), Richard Brown (2004), Sandi Brabb (2006) and Pam Colbert (2007).
