Jeanne Jensen given 2008 CVM Staff Excellence Award
Dean Warwick Bayly named Jeanne Jensen as one of the winners of the annual
CVM Employee Excellence Award. Jeanne was nominated by co-worker, Becky
Morton. The award was presented by IPN Chair Bryan Slinker at the IPN
Ice Cream Social.

Coordinator and department editor, was recently named one of the
winners of the 2008 Dean's Staff Employee Excellence Awards. The honor
was announced by Dean Warwick Bayly at the annual CVM Employee Barbecue on
August 15 and presented by Chair Bryan Slinker at the IPN welcome back ice
cream social on August 22. Phrases such as "...strives
for and obtains excellence; able to see a need and respond; prime motivator
is to make other people look good..." were some of
the descriptions given in Jeanne's nomination for this honor.
Jeanne has been employed at WSU for nearly 25 years, and she has been
with IPN since 1991. She is supervisor of the word processing group
and oversees the work produced in that busy unit.
Past IPN recipients of the CVM
Excellence Award include Becky Morton (1999), Paul Johnson (2001), Sandra
Bellinger (2000), Richard Brown (2004), Sandi Brabb (2006) and Pam Colbert
(2007).
