James Krueger awarded Honorary MD from Hungary

Jim Krueger has been awarded an honorary MD from the University of Szeged, Hungary.  This is an honor that has come through his long-time association with the University and Dr. Ferenc Obal.

Van Look (center),  Obstetrics and Gynecology at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.  Photo was taken during the Conferment Ceremony November 29, 2005, wherein Dr. Krueger was awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa (honorary M.D.)  at the University of Szeged, Dugonics, Hungary.


As part of his award ceremony, Jim Krueger informed audience members about his on-going sleep research.

Jim Krueger receives congratulations and warm wishes while wife, Judy, (center) receives flowers from the colleagues and daughters of Dr. Krueger's long-time collaborator (the late) Ference Obal.
