Dr. David Rector, Associate Professor in the Department of VCAPP and faculty director of Kids' Judge! science outreach program was honored in October 2009 by the College of Veterinary Medicine Research Committee with the 2009 Pfizer Research Award..

A member of the WSU faculty since 2002, Dr. Rector is currently working on research important to the understanding of oscillatory behavior (see Dr. Rector's research page for more detail).  He has received grant funding for his research from the National Institutes of Health and other national institutions .
