The Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology provides advanced
training in infectious diseases and immunology that uses
contemporary research approaches to investigate basic events in
transmission and pathogenesis with the goal of improving animal
and human health worldwide. Innovative faculty, state-of the-art
