Mission of the VTH: The College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University is dedicated to excellence and innovation in teaching, scholarship and outreach in the veterinary and other medical sciences for the benefit of animal and human health. We are a modern, responsive and future-oriented college whose actions are linked to an ongoing commitment to quality enhancement for our programs and stakeholders as they relate to future challenges and opportunities.

Our primary missions, at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH), are to provide education, research and the best possible service to all clients and their pets. With this in mind, a partnership between the VTH and referring veterinarians directly addresses both the primary mission of the VTH and the goal of establishing WSU VTH as the “gold standard” of customer service.
