Veterinary Clinical Pathology Laboratory
The WSU Veterinary Clinical Pathology Laboratory is an AAHA accredited
laboratory offering testing in clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation,
urinalysis, diagnostic cytology, and blood banking for a variety of species. The
laboratory is committed to performing high-quality laboratory testing on
state-of-the-art automated analyzers. The laboratory is staffed by two clinical
pathologists who are board-certified by the American College of Veterinary
Pathologists, 2 clinical pathology residents, 3 board certified medical
technologists, and 3 after hours veterinary students.
Mission Statement
The primary mission of the WSU VTH Clinical Pathology Laboratory is to provide
timely and accurate diagnostic service to VTH clinicians, researchers, and
referring veterinarians. In addition, the laboratory recognizes its teaching
role in an academic institution, aiding in the interpretation of laboratory
results and demonstrating only the highest standards of ethical and professional
behavior to all faculty, staff and students.
