Upcoming Maine Coon Cardiac Genetic Study Requirements for Participants
Our laboratory has pre-selected participants for a new study in Maine
Coon Cardiac Genetics.
All participants must meet these requirements:
- Five (5) year commitment for those cats included in this study
- After the study has begun, no new cats may be added or substituted
- Each cat must attend the annual echo clinic held by Dr Meurs in the
participants region
- Echo done by another professional will not replace the echo done by
Dr Meurs for this study
It is possible this study could continue past the five year mark.
However, we require a commitment of only five years for this study by each
participant.
Dr Meurs requires to personally echo each participant because this
offers the highest potential for continuity in echo results. This is very
important to our study.
