Policies
- All cases except those exclusively for toxicology, PCR
sex determination and food safety will be assessed an
accession fee of $10.00. An accession is defined as
specimen(s) of one animal species or miscellaneous
substances belonging to one owner and submitted at one time.
- Non-Washington samples will be assessed a 50% surcharge
except where indicated.
- Clinical pathology services (e.g., hematology and
cytology) are provided by the Department of Veterinary
Clinical Sciences (VCS) – (509-335-0745). These services are
billed by VCS.
- A FAX, mail, or electronic report is provided at no
charge.
- Samples sent for analysis to outside labs are billed for
any additional direct costs incurred. Handling fee (includes
postage) is $15.00.
- Fees are subject to change without notice.
- "STAT" fee - Please contact laboratory in advance to
arrange scheduling and fees.

Idaho Analytical Sciences Laboratory. Additional
analyses including comprehensive plant, water, soil and
environmental analytic services are available. Inquiries
