WSU Veterinary Holter Service

During the week of ACVIM (June 10-14, 2013) there may be some delays in processing holters. Turnaround time for results may be a day or two longer than normal. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Washington State University Veterinary Holter Service is pleased to provide this valuable service to our referring veterinarians in the Pacific Northwest. A 24-hour cardiac holter monitor can provide useful information for your patients with:

  • Syncopal or pre-syncopal events
  • Unexplained collapse episodes
  • Long-term monitoring of patients on anti-arrhythmic medications

The WSU Veterinary Holter Service provides all necessary equipment and instructions for a 24-hour digital holter recording. This includes a full report with interpretation and recommendations from a Board Certified Cardiologist. This allows you to provide this service to your clients at your practice. We strive for fast turn-around on urgent cases and also provide discounts on recheck holters for long-term care.
