WHAT IS IT?

The Canine Canter is a 5k fun run/walk for dogs and their owners. Humans without dogs are also welcome. Snacks will be provided for all participants and prizes will be given to first, second, and third place teams. The majority of the proceeds will benefit the Whitman County Humane Society in Pullman with the remainder sustaining the CVM's Canine Club.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?


Pre-registration
  • $15 (Event T-shirt included)
  • Early registration closed March 28, 2016

Late-registration
  • $20 on race-day (Event T-shirt not guaranteed)

Check-in/Late Registration
  • 7:00 - 7:50 am at Bustad Hall lawn
    Corner of Stadium Way and Grimes Road
    College of Veterinary Medicine, Washington State University in Pullman, WA

WHO CAN ENTER? A Dog is not Required to Run

Anyone willing to run, jog or walk with or without a dog can enter. Dogs must be over four months old.


WHAT ARE THE RULES?

Proof of your dog's RABIES VACCINATION is REQUIRED.

You must bring a tag or certificate to the event and present it at the check-in table. We strongly recommend that your dog be current on its annual combination vaccines.

  • Dogs MUST be on leash and under control at all times.
  • Watering areas will be available. 
  • Owners are responsible for any damages or injuries caused by their dog to people, property or other dogs. Canine Club, WSU, and all other Canine Canter sponsors will not be held liable. 
  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up their pet's waste.
  • Plastic bags will be available for use.
