Our VLE program teaches students professional
leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
Thank you for supporting the Veterinary Leadership Experience (VLE) at
Washington State University by making a donation to the College of
Veterinary Medicine.
The VLE program encourages leadership skills and teaches students a wide
range of professional competencies not generally offered in traditional
veterinary medicine curricula. The renowned evidence-based communication
program, modeled after similar programs in human medicine, develops
communication skills that enhance veterinary-client-patient interaction,
clinical reasoning, and collaboration with colleagues. WSU is one of only a
few veterinary schools in the United States leading the charge in teaching
these essential skills to its students.
