NOTICE     

The Newsletter will now be a dynamic instrument for dissemination of information. It will have outdated items removed and new items of interest added as they are received. The newsletter will be updated on a yearly basis. This format allows more flexibility for each Associate Regional Editor and the Senior Editor. It also should provide more current information for the reader. This means that each of you should visit the STVM web site and newsletter on a monthly basis to stay informed of the latest and greatest item(s) of interest.

The following is a brief description of the venue
 

  The Eighth Biennial Conference of the STVM will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam.

  The meeting place will be at the Melia Hanoi Hotel which is a luxurious and modern hotel located in central Hanoi close to major tourist attractions. The hotel maintains a full conference center with state of the art audio-visual and presentation facilities and business center. The hotel contains both restaurant and exercise facilities and will be an excellent venue for the conference.

  The Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and the National Institute of Veterinary Research (NIVR) are the local welcoming institutions.
