The Comparative Gastroenterology Society sponsors several events
including its annual business meeting and symposium held in conjunction with The
Forum of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.

GutSki 2006
Join the Comparative Gastroenterology Society for the
winter meeting at the Woodspur
ski lodge in the mountains of Colorado. Arrive Saturday February 25
and depart Wednesday March 1, 2006. There will be 12 hours of
gastroenterology and nutrition based CE given in an informal and
family-orientated atmosphere Sunday through Tuesday. The program will consist of
short abstracts, clinical case presentations, and topic discussions. All
attendees are encouraged to present at the meeting. The early morning and late
afternoon program provide adequate time for recreation and relaxation. Winter
Park also has both excellent beginner and expert skiing. Other family activities
include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sled rides, or just sitting by
the fire on those snowy days. We will again have a family ski race and also a
tubing night that is fun for young and old. The
Woodspur (visit
www.woodspur.com) is a rustic lodge but has all the amenities. The room
price is very reasonable and includes family style breakfast and dinner, après
ski, cocktail hour, tax, gratuity and much more! We have reserved the entire
lodge. For more information contact the
meeting coordinator David Twedt at
twedt@colostate.edu or Jörg Steiner at
jsteiner@cvm.tamu.edu.
