About Jesse...


Biography: I grew up in and around Bellingham WA (northwest corner of the state), where I originally received a transfer degree at Whatcom Community College before completing my Bachelors at Western Washington University.  I initially became interested in neuroscience during my first exposure via an introductory course in behavioral neuroscience and joined an addiction research lab (Dr. Jeff Grimm’s lab) in the summer of 2009.  I remained in the lab following graduation until moving to Pullman for my Neuroscience PhD.

Other Interests:
Other Interests: I enjoy alpine backpacking during the summer and snowboarding/snowshoeing in the winter.  I also like to cook (always learning) and travel to places with foreign culture, beer, geography, etc.
