About Regina...


Biography:
I was born March 7 and grew up in Jinan, Shandong, a major city in Northern China; a city famous for its springs.  I attended Shandong Experimental High School.


Undergraduate Education:
I graduated from Shandong University (China) in 2010 with a degree in Biological Science.

Current Research Topic:
I am part of both the Simasko lab and the Jansen lab. I’m interested in sleep disorders and alcoholism and am currently working on a project studying the effects of chronic alcohol consumption on sleep disturbances and circadian rhythm disruptions.

Other Interests:
Movies, novels and comics are some of my interests.  I also like making handcrafts and paper models and traveling.  I can play table tennis, badminton and basketball, but I'm actually not a big sports fan.
