About Scott...

I grew up in Joppatowne, a small suburb north of Baltimore, Maryland.  After high school, I attended Harford Community College before transferring shortly to my undergraduate institution.  I did my undergrad at Frostburg State University, a small college in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains.  I received my B.S. in Biology in December 2012, after which I worked in water chemistry at the UMD Appalachian Laboratory until coming to Pullman.  While at Frostburg I was involved with two research projects, one in which we studied the cognitive ability of Cotton top Tamarins (Saguinus oedius) and another in which we tested the behavioral implications of diet change in Sprague Dawley rats.

Other Interests:

I am a tennis fanatic, but I enjoy any outdoor activity that will get my blood pumping.  I enjoy nice scenery (who doesn’t?), especially if it takes a bit of a trek to get to a good vantage point.
