About Jessica...

 

Biography:

Born March 16th in St. Louis, MO.  Raised in the suburbs of St. Louis and completed undergraduate work at Saint Louis University.

Undergraduate Education:
Saint Louis Univeristy, B.A., 2012. Major: Psychology
Current research topic:

Utilizing transneuronal tracers (Pseudorabies Virus) to map and compare differences in aggressive and non-aggressive mice. 

Other Interests:

Jessica enjoys keeping busy with her energetic two-year-old, Alivia and her boyfriend, Roberto.  In their free time they enjoy watching football, hockey, and supporting the best team in baseball, the St Louis Cardinals.  Furthermore, Jessica enjoys cooking, bike riding, the outdoors, shopping, pinteresting, art, hugging trees, and overall trying new things.  She hopes to continue her research examining addiction behavior and substance abuse. 

Awards/Honors:
  • 2012 - Graduated Magna Cum Laude From St. Louis University (B.A.)

  • 2013 - Achievement Rewards for College Scientists fellowship awarded by the Seattle Chapter of ARCS.
