Interests
I have taught a variety of subjects in the veterinary curriculum in
the past including the urinary system, small animal restraint, fluid
therapy, hematology, oncology and feline diseases. I practiced on
the referral medicine service of the WSU VTH from 1982 through
1995. Currently I focus on the use of technology in veterinary
education. As part of a team, I maintain the CVM web site and
social media sites and manage online continuing education.
I am a past president of CONVINCE which was a consortium
involving all the veterinary schools in the US and Canada with a
focus on the use of technology in veterinary education as well as a
member of the
Association for Veterinary
Informatics (AVI). I was on the editorial board of the
Journal of Veterinary Medical
Education and the item writing committee of the National Board
of Veterinary Examiners.
