Research interests
My primary research interests are in the pathogenesis of disease in
aquatic animals. My work compares pathogen induced immune responses in
aquatic animals to those in mammalian species. My research efforts have
examined viral, bacterial, and parasitic infections as well as the effect of
environmental changes on disease. Additionally, I collaborate on various
mammalian pathology research projects.
