Boo Kitty passed on 11/4/06 and we miss him so much that each day without him is difficult.  We had no children and Boo Kitty was our child for 17 years.  His favorite time of year was spring and summer, especially summer when he could lay on the patio and warm his aching bones in the sun.  He also loved Christmas morning and always knew it was time to open presents.
