  Nancy

Nancy was a working guide dog, welped and trained at the San Rafael Kennels of Guide Dogs for the Blind , Inc. Nancy spent her 8 year working life guiding a blind older worman who we never knew. She was returned to GDB when the woman passed away. We adopted this wonderful and smart dog from GDB and were her guardians for three years when she passed away peacefully and painlessly in September 2006. Nancy was my constant companion and walking buddy during her time with us. We loved this wonderful dog as probably did her blind partner before us, and Nancy returned the love to us many times over. We will miss her.
