  Tootsie Roll

Tootsie Roll was such a cutie and is greatly missed and thought of often. As a puppy she used to pick up big sticks and would try to walk, but the sticks were so big for her body weight that she would loose her balance. During her early years Tootsie loved to run very fast making huge circles as she ran; it was an awesome and funny thing to see. Then she got older and sick. About a week before we put her to sleep I had the joy of seeing her run as if she were still a puppy. I think that she wanted to give us one last good memory. I enjoyed sharing my life with my baby for 11 plus years. It was such a painful decision to put her down (many ups and downs in the last 3 weeks). I couldn't stand seeing her in pain. Now I know that she is in heaven and no longer in pain. As my husband Michael said, "Now she is barking at Jesus."
