  Salty

In the summer of 1992 Salty was abandoned to the streets. She was just weeks old, but found entry to our backyard. There she found food, shelter and loving care for 14 years.
Salty was a social kitty, often looking for a lap to sit on, seeking us out whether indoors or out. She could be found enjoying warm locations - a heat register or the sun streaming through a window. I miss her waking me in the morning, joining me while reading a book or on our deck enjoying the warmth of the sun.
She developed health related problems and left us on November 18, 2006. We miss her dearly.
Not to be forgotten - also on that summer day of ' 92 came Pepper, Salty's litter mate. They were good companions. Pepper is still adjusting - our other special kitty.
