In Memory of Our Beloved...

Annie

  Annie

Annie was the best girl anyone could ask for.  She was so faithful to her mama, waiting outside until I came home from work or a week long trip.  We loved her so much and she was a good "sissy" to the other dogs, they loved her and miss her too.  She loved to go on a run and do the rounds in the neighborhood on a Sunday morning, she would always come back licking her lips from the treat that her neighbor friend would give her. She was a real trooper each time she had to go into the "V E T" and she was all business when she would march into the building to go visit her "boyfriend" Dr. Ed Peretti.  He and his staff took such good care of her over the years giving us more time with her through all the illnesses she had.  She loved her life and was just happy to be here, you would not even know she was ill because she always was up to anything we would be doing.  She loved to travel and explore new places when we went to motels.  She even attended a convention with her mama because I didn't want to trust anyone else to give her the insulin shots twice daily.  Even though my dad could have handled it I couldn't put her through not having me around.  She was such a good girl during the presentations and most people didn't even know she was there, she was so happy just to be by my side.  There will never be another one like her, the bond I had with her was so special and even though I will have many more pets in my life I don't think I'll ever find another one like "my daughter" Annie. Goodbye my girl, until we meet again.
