  Greetings,
Since you have expressed an interest in veterinary medicine and in pursuing your pre-veterinary program at Washington State University, I would like to inform you about a special Cougar Preview Day on Monday, October 17, 2005.

At this Cougar Preview Day you will have an opportunity to learn about the different pre-veterinary programs at WSU, take a tour of the College of Veterinary Medicine, and lunch with pre-veterinary students who are enrolled in the various pre-veterinary programs.

Dean Bayly

Students who have an interest in veterinary medicine usually complete their pre-veterinary requirements while enrolled in one of the Bachelor of Science degree granting programs such as Animal Sciences (in the College of Agriculture, Human and Natural Resource Sciences), Neuroscience (in the College of Veterinary Medicine) or Zoology (in the College of Sciences). We believe that the pre-veterinary programs at WSU are outstanding programs that prepare you academically for veterinary school while providing opportunities for you to become acquainted with our College.

I hope you will think seriously about the special day on October 17. I expect you'll be impressed by what you see.

Best regards,
Dr. Warwick Bayly
Dean, College of Veterinary Medicine
Washington State University
