Application Procedures


The WSU on-line supplemental application form should be available at the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) website by early June. All transcripts, GRE scores, and evaluation forms should be mailed to the

VMCAS

The VMCAS office, located in Washington, D.C., is responsible for processing applications of students interested in applying to multiple veterinary schools. An online VMCAS application should be available through the AAVMC Web site (www.aavmc.org) in June. Students should be sure to check the box for WSU on the application form. The required evaluation forms can be downloaded from the AAVMC Web site and, as of 2007, must be submitted electronically.

WSU supplemental application

There will also be a required WSU supplemental application online (www.vetmed. wsu.edu/prospectiveStudents/admissions.aspx) that applicants must complete by October 1. A $60 application/processing fee will be assessed as part of completing the WSU supplemental application. Transcripts and GRE scores should be mailed to:

before the application deadline of October 1. Transcripts should include courses in progress during fall 2008. Additional transcripts that reflect grades for the fall 2008 courses will only be required from those applicants who are offered an interview.

FAFSA

Applicants should file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) no later than March 1 for priority consideration. Applicants should request that reports be sent to WSU in order to guarantee consideration for financial aid, if they are admitted. WICHE and non-service area applicants need to have reports sent to WSU to be considered for financial aid. Additional financial aid information

WICHE

Under the terms of the WICHE compact, a certified student admitted from a WICHE state is sponsored by his/her home state and pays resident tuition and fees only. Students must apply to their home states for certification no later than October 15th. Additional information may be obtained from:
